This Bible has a glued newspaper article of the obituary of Benjamin Ely, died in 1852, he is the father of Dudley Ely, on the back cover is a Photograph with a footnote: This is a picture of my uncle Nathan Ely, my father's brother, Mary Ely Millard 1894. Mary Ely Millard is the daughter of Dudley and her grandfather would have been Benjamin Ely. We have also added a red leather stamp wallet, monographed Nathan C. Ely.
